We’re hiring: Digital Marketing Executive

Seren Global Media is looking for a flexible individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Executive. With a team of experienced communications experts, Seren is a PR agency that helps clients to stand out from the crowd and engage with their audiences.

We support our clients across all media platforms and assist them to establish meaningful business relationships, build their brand, and develop and maintain a positive corporate reputation. 

Job brief

Hours: 37½ hours (4-5 days) per week

Place: Llansamlet, Swansea

We are seeking someone with a varied skillset to undertake a wide variety of administrative, operational and production tasks. The role will also require an understanding of different digital platforms, with the ability to engage creatively where necessary. Ultimately, the person will ensure the PR team has adequate support to work efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in prioritising and organising workload, have an in-depth understanding of social media and digital marketing, have experience uploading to Wordpress websites, and be able to use their own initiative and creativity, as well as collaborating with the wider team.

The Digital Marketing Executive will also help ensure the smooth running of the Seren Global Media office and will contribute to driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

Schedule social media posts through Hootsuite
Monitor coverage of issued press releases
Manage advert production and submission
Track media/feature opportunities
Upload content to websites
Support bookkeeping procedures – using excel to manage invoicing
Liaise with clients and third parties to get sign off of content
Liaise with external stakeholders, including photographers and videographers
Issue press releases using online database and follow up with journalists
Prepare presentations/proposals to assist with business development
Assist colleagues where necessary

Requirements:

Essential:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills
Familiarity with office management procedures
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Outlook 365
Understanding of digital marketing
Familiarity with PR and media
Valid UK Drivers License and access to a vehicle

Desirable:

Experience managing social media accounts
Experience of working with Wordpress websites
Understanding of SEO
Design experience
Ability to use Canva to create graphics
Writing experience
Ability to proofread written content
Creativity – helping with ideas and delivery
